Paros tavern
My place of the heart, for many years ...from the very beginning almost 20 years ago unfortunately due to coronavirus crisis, it has closed at the end of 2020... I still like to remember it, in the hope of a new opening.

Excellent tavern, characteristic, well maintained, family-run, friendly and hospitable environment.
On the seafront of Parikia, not far from the bus station.
Emi (Gelsomina) will welcome you with kindness and a beautiful smile.
Try the grilled fish well served with a nice baked potato. I always take grilled orate... fantastic! Also excellent is the mousaka, when available, grilled peppers, broad beans, dakos and various salads.
The typical dishes of the Greek tradition are special and well presented. The grilled bifteki, or meatballs cooked on the grill and served with chips, are also excellent. Good rosé house wine.
In short, I am a regular customer and I have always eaten very well.

Cuore Rosso
We know this Pizzeria since many years and every time we are in Paros it is a must.
Chiara is an excellent hostess, Martino always nice and affectionate.
Great pizza! Lightweight! From the high ledge. Quality ingredients.
The fried dumplings are also excellent, served with Italian cured meats.
Delicious sweets!
Superb location: a garden in the historic center! However, the well-kept environment is informal and very welcoming. A light background music makes it very pleasant.
Correct price-quality ratio.

Excellent, imaginative cuisine, traditional recipes revisited in an Asian fusion key. Sophisticated menu compared to island standards. The dishes with intriguing and well presented combinations.
Excellent wines. Very good desserts.
In the center of Parikia, in the pedestrian area, on Market Street, an internal courtyard covered by a vine pergola. Only thirty or a bit more seats.
Minimal elegance. Pleasant equipment, beautiful dishes and beautiful glasses. Elegant service.
Friendly staff and they speak excellent English.
Reservation is recommended, even in low season.

Stou Fred (chez Fred)
It is an exclusive restaurant with few seats. In a fantastic garden in the heart of Parikia.
Fred is Fred Chesneau, better known in Italy as the Vagabond Cook of the homonymous TV show. After having visited all the world, Fred stopped in Paros. According to Fred, Paros is one of the most beautiful places in the world! In 2017 he opened this little restaurant and lives here in Paros all year round. It is not difficult to meet him in town.
Fixed menu restaurant that changes weekly and features only the best seasonal products of local origin, meat and fish, all prepared with international techniques and spices. The chef brings his entire knoledge into his dishes. With experience, he blends knowledge and culinary traditions from all around the world.
Fred is also an excellent host. He comes to the tables to describe each dish and explain his creations. The atmosphere is very pleasant French wines.
Medium-high prices.

Apostolis Ouzeri
Cozy tavern on the seafront towards Livadia. Tables on the patio with sunset views. I recommend the grilled or fried fish.
The other traditional dishes are simple.
Yogurt dessert with candied fruit or seasonal fruit offered by the house at the end.
Very nice and polite staff.
Medium-low prices.

Place with tables directly on the beach of Livadia.
Sunset view. Quiet, romantic and welcoming atmosphere.
The owner Paolo is Italian, very kind and helpful.
He excellent cuisine, a rich mix of Greek and Italian cuisine, meat and fish. Pasta (tricolor or pistachio paccheri), gyros, octopus on chickpea cream, very good desserts.
Correct value for money.

It is a kind of canteen located in the main square of Parikia, behind the bank. The bean, chickpea or lentil soups and other traditional dishes are excellent. I prefer it as take away.
They also prepare burgers and Greek salad on the spot.

Taverna To koutouki
Do not miss it!! To koutouki is a small Greek tavern where you can breathe an air of authenticity. 
Very few tables arranged randomly along two alleys in the historic center of Parikia, not far from the Pirate bar. 
It offers excellent meze, meat and fish dishes.
Traditional cuisine
Incredible prices: most dishes cost 3 or 5 euros! (Year 2021)
Friendly and cordial atmosphere. 
Live traditional Greek music on Saturdays.

Yemeni tavern
Very popular tavern, in the center of Naoussa, in the alleys. Perhaps a bit chaotic, simple but well-organized. Reservation is needed.
The food is great. Mussaka is very good. The lamb and the stewed stuffed chicken are also exceptional. The fish dishes are also excellent. Good homemade bread and also the orange cake, often offered at the end of the meal.
Friendly service, but sometimes a bit aloof.

In the center of Noussa, an elegant restaurant.
Managed by a very kind chef Valeria, from Rome (Italy).
Location collected in a small courtyard where the atmosphere is very intimate. Beautiful and well-kept plants surround tables well separated from each other, so to not listen to the conversations of nearby customers. The cuisine is very good. fresh fish.

Restaurant just outside the center, quiet, simple but well-kept location. Very good, well-prepared dishes, very fresh fish, excellent ingredients.
Beetroot salad, very delicate Moussaka (super generous portion), very fresh octopus, excellent mussels, meat and fish.
Karina, the owner, also speaks English and is very helpful.

Top location. Beautiful place located right next to the seafront. It can be reached by car or scooter.
I recommend going for dinner at sunset time to enjoy the wonderful sea view. The restaurant also has many tables inside, to be preferred if there is a lot of wind. Booking is recommended.
Fresh fish. Great service, good choice of wines, expensive.

Location with terrace and suggestive view over the village of Lefkes.
In the evening, the panorama becomes magical and from Flora's tavern, Lefkes appears as a wonderful nativity scene.
Traditional dishes, simple, but well prepared, of excellent quality. Grilled lamb (ribs) and lamb with lemon are delicious. Fantastic garlic sauce. Amazing moussaka (for me the best moussaka in Paros).
Large portions at moderate prices.
Flora is a very good cook, sometimes not particularly smiling.

This tavern is located on the rooftop terrace of a house. It overlooks the Town Hall square, the one with the small gardens and the War Memorial. The staircase to go up to the restaurant is next to the Pharmacy.
Obviously grilled meat: very good lamb chops. But also the traditional dishes are excellent: fava, chickpea salad, chickpea soup, karavoles (large snails), moussaka, courgette balls and chips, house rosé wine. This simple tavern is always very busy. It's better to book, especially if you want to sit at the outermost tables, overlooking the town.

Anna & Giorgos
Family run tavern. Location with parking. Nice and pleasant interior. Beautiful wide view over the sea and Lefkes.
Mainly meat.
Great food, well cooked and plenty of it.
The dishes are fresh and of excellent quality. Fried zucchini, dolmadakia, feta-filled beef burger. Grilled lamb chops, lemon chicken with roast potatoes. Dessert offered at the end of the meal.
The owner is very nice and helpful. The service is fast and kind.
Reservation is recommended.

For those in Paros who want to taste the good Italian cuisine, especially from Naples.
The place is impressive and does not look like a real restaurant. After a short winding road, you arrive at a house with a large garden and sea views. This is the place. The tables are on the veranda, well spaced and cared, in their simplicity.
A welcome fried pizza, appetizers, pasta, Fusilli alla Genovese, Penne alla diavola, Eggplant Parmigiana, sausages and broccoli... Also excellent desserts: caprese with orange marmalade... Very good wines.
The owners are two kind and attentive gentlemen.

Halaris Tavern
Cozy and romantic location with tables directly on the small port of Piso Livadi. Simple but well-kept tavern.
The food here is fabulous. It is the best restaurant in Paros. Super fresh and perfectly cooked fish! Grilled, raw or cooked. Excellent sea urchins, marinated anchovies, octopus, squid, crab salad, fried cod or red beet accompanied by skordalia (garlic sauce), broad beans, grilled chicken... Here everything is very very good.
Fast, friendly and attentive service. Very kind owner, always smiling.
In high season or peak times, reservations are preferable.
Excellent value for money.

My favorite fish tavern in Paros.
Here everything is perfect: from the location (right on the water's edge and in the shade of large umbrellas and a pergola), to the very fast, professional service, to the kindness of the owners, to the amazing dishes.
All very very good, well presented. Friendly environment. honest prices.
Try the characteristic guona, the hanging (dried) and grilled mackerel, sea urchin salad, fried zucchini, squid ink risotto, grilled fish, Mouragio salad, fried squid, crab salad... go there many times and always order different dishes will always be super satisfied!
At the end of the meal, they offer ice cream or seasonal fruit.
